I decided first to explore the main building. (It had been several months since my last visit, and I was just as keen to assess the interiors as to identify the fire's location).

A quick vault of the fence and I made my way to the chapel and some of the outlying villas. It was then that I discovered the scene of the blaze - a small cottage on Severalls Lane. In an extreme state of dilapidation for several years, had it not been for the cordon, I doubt I would have noticed any damage.
